Let’s see what Md has in store us today. Last blog there was some communication exaggeration issue between the band during the set. Md stepped right in and mentioned that he has a simple solution. Read on and see what he has in store.

Here are the links to the products that were recommended depending on your budget.
Low budget $

  1. Sm57
  2. Headphone amp
  3. Don’t forget the cables
  4. Headphones

Mid budget $$

  1. Behringer power play 16 p16M
  2. Sm57
  3. Headphones
  4. Cables

Big budget $$$

  1. Aviom system
  2.  Sm57
  3. Headphones
  4. Cables

There you go folks, these systems work wonders if done correctly. They’re not for every band. It depends on what they are used to. If the music director or team knows how to embrace change there teams communication and growth will fly through the roof.

If you have any comments or suggestions feels free to post them in the bottom. Also don’t forget to sign up for my free comic updates.

Thanks for reading

In my experience as a music director there are always certain times when communication gets confusing between musicians and the music director.

I remember always throwing hand signals or giving that certain look and for some reason that get what I’m trying to say. Other times it can get out of hand. Check out and see how these misfit create communication exaggeration.

Thanks for reading, hopefully I didn’t leave you hanging at the end like some soap opera. Part two is coming soon and you’ll see how MD figured out the issue.

Peace.

Last post we talked about the LOVE word and how it’s a crucial component in your worship team. I have also talked about before the Connection Trinity, and the Growth Trinity and how these fundamentals will skyrocket growth in your worship team. Just like the Gospel Trinity which is: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the “Love Trinity” contains it’s three parts. These elements when applied to your team can be a huge catalyst to bring your team together. Here is the “Love Trinity”.

That’s it very simple yet powerful. Since we are all musicians we have to love music right?. To be even more specific it’s not just listening to it or even performing it,  it is also learning as much as you can so you can grow as leader, which in affect will influence your team to grow themselves.

John Maxwell ex-pastor from Skyline Church talks about “The Law of the Lid”. As a leader your worship teams growth goes as far as you do. In other words if you stop learning and growing. Then your team will stop learning and growing it’s as simple as that.

Now it’s time to show your team some LOVE and if there are any ideas on how can LOVE on your team don’t be shy and share them below in the comments section. Don’t forget to add your email below if you haven’t already so I can send some more info.

Ok, LOVE you guys more to come.

Does your Worship Team Meet Greater Expectations? https://toonstunes.org/greater-expectations/ https://toonstunes.org/greater-expectations/#comments Wed, 28 Aug 2013 07:00:12 +0000 http://de-aragon.com/?p=547 Does your Worship Team Meet Greater Expectations? Read More »

Every worship team needs to meet the vision and greater expectations of the ministry or church. Your leader is supposed to make sure that the vision and expectations are cast and met consistently, so that the members of your team will understand what they are supposed to accomplish.

Here is a silly example on how our misfit worship team does it. Enjoy!

Back in my heyday leading a worship band, I’ve encountered many areas during worship and practice that just annoyed the heck out of me. It is also funny that we as imperfect beings don’t even notice it until someone points it out to you.  As we grow in our walk with God we’ll discover new areas in our team that needs attention. Here is one:

We all gain wisdom through our evaluated experiences and by practicing them. Communication is a key element in making sure your team are all on same page. And as wisdom grows so will your team.

The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you.

Proverbs 4:7-8

What an awesome proverb, always look for the answers to improve your team and test to see what works.

Thank you all for checking out this blog and please leave a comment below and share any annoying mishaps that has happened in you team I’d love to hear from them.
